Summary: This position is responsible for leading the discovery, design, integration, and implementation of Workday Procurement ERP software while creating risk-mitigating strategies during the transition from the legacy ERP System Peoplesoft on behalf of the Procurement Services Department. The Procurement Systems Analyst position is also responsible for working cross-functionally to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that will optimize all software systems utilized by the Procurement Department to deliver projects on time and efficiently on behalf of customer departments. This role operates and enhances ERP applications supporting NTTA's Procurements within Workday ERP system.
In a post-Workday implementation environment, the Procurement Systems Analyst will transition into a systems admin role for all Procurement systems and operate as the primary interface with the Director of Procurement on all data reporting and key performance indicator reporting for Procurement Services. The Procurement Systems Analyst will be the primary point of contact for any software system Procurement utilized through third-party vendors that includes system updates, managing the software vendor relationships, training internal and external stakeholders, and communicating changes to the entire organization
Pay Range: $97,836/annually - $128,731/annually Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately. This position is not available for H1-B visa sponsorship. Responsibilities: - Work with departmental subject matter experts to ensure that ERP testing scenarios are created and executed for all Workday configuration updates.
- Sound ERP understanding that can be applied in high-level process conversations and granular configuration discussions.
- Consistently seeks and finds process or technical inefficiencies and openly advises the Procurement Services on possible enhancements.
- Develop and conduct training that effectively summarizes themes from the technical responsibilities into messaging the entire organization can leverage.
- Analyzing the business needs of stakeholders to recommend the appropriate application or design to address those needs.
- Provides deep analytical support in procurement projects, including but not limited to, the implementation of procurement systems and project tracking tools.
- Ensuring thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
- Perform various systems tasks, including extracting data and creating management reports, and working with internal stakeholders to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Applies established procedures, policies, and standards with little or no supervisory guidance.
- Performs project management tasks as assigned.
- Conducts analysis utilized by the Director of Procurement for sourcing and operational purposes including cost and pricing analysis.
Qualifications: M inimum:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five years of experience in ERP implementation.
- Comprehensive industry knowledge of ERP systems specific to financial data, reporting, and procure to pay - (PeopleSoft, Oracle, and Workday ERP systems).
- Ability to collaborate with and advise functional stakeholders, end users, and leads on configurations and solutions within Workday Financial Systems.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Business area knowledge with an understanding of financial processes and data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and informal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or supply chain management.
- Five years of experience as a lead analyst managing Workday Financial Systems and Procure to Pay - preferably in Government or Transportation.
- Proficiency in analyzing data using business intelligence tools in Workday and assessing that data using Tableau, Excel, or a preferred data platform.
- Cloud ERP implementation experience.
- Proven driver of projects during the design, build, implementation, and stabilization phases.
