Job description

Sentinel Blue is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Procurement Manager to support and coordinate our procurement, licensing, and vendor management operations. This individual plays a key role in ensuring that hardware, software, and services are ordered accurately, delivered on time, and properly tracked across the organization, including coordinating logistics and fulfillment. This role is primarily focused on day-to-day procurement coordination while also supporting oversight and alignment of related activities across the team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong follow-through, and keeps processes organized and running smoothly while supporting internal teams and client needs.
This is a full-time position that is fully remote.
This position may require access to technology, technical data, or information that is subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. Employment in this position is contingent upon either verification of U.S. person status as defined under applicable export control regulations (which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and certain protected individuals such as refugees and asylees) or the ability to obtain any required export authorization. The company reserves the right not to apply for an export license and to decline to proceed with any applicant on that basis. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to citizenship status, national origin, or immigration status.
A day in the Procurement Manager role:
The Procurement Manager starts their day by reviewing active orders, licensing requests, and vendor communications, ensuring all procurement activities are progressing accurately and on schedule. They quickly identify any blockers-such as vendor delays, order discrepancies, or licensing questions-and work to resolve them while keeping internal teams informed. Throughout the day, they act as a central point of coordination for procurement operations, working closely with internal teams to fulfill requests, confirm requirements, and ensure accuracy across all orders and renewals. They engage with vendors to obtain quotes, track orders, and support ongoing relationships, ensuring products and services are delivered as expected. They also support the oversight of a small team, helping coordinate device deployment and related activities to ensure alignment with procurement efforts. As priorities shift, they adapt quickly-balancing multiple requests, maintaining organized records, and ensuring operations continue to run smoothly. By the end of the day, the Procurement Manager has helped ensure procurement and licensing activities are organized, accurate, and moving forward efficiently, supporting both internal operations and client needs.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate end-to-end procurement processes for hardware, software, licensing, and services
• Work with internal teams to gather requirements, validate requests, and ensure accurate ordering
• Obtain quotes, place orders, and track fulfillment with vendors to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate shipping, delivery, and tracking of hardware and related equipment
• Coordinate with vendors and support ongoing relationships, including communication and issue resolution
• Support software licensing procurement, renewals, and tracking
• Maintain accurate records of orders, licenses, warranties, and vendor agreements
• Monitor upcoming renewals and expirations to help ensure continuity of services
• Collaborate with finance and billing teams to support alignment between procurement and invoicing
• Support and help coordinate a small team, including device deployment and related activities
• Assist with inventory tracking, logistics coordination, and device lifecycle support as needed
What We Can Offer:
Sentinel Blue is a young company with a focused mission: We're bringing enterprise-class cybersecurity to small and medium sized businesses. Frankly, we're pushing the envelope of how things are done and constantly seeking innovative ways to meet that mission. The pace is fast, and we're always learning new things. This is a great place if you want to expose yourself to new and emerging technologies, want to be challenged, and want to build your skills. Further, success in this role can quickly transition into a team leadership role. The right person will find themselves in a fun, dynamic environment, working on interesting problems and making a real difference.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, operations, administrative coordination, or a related role, preferably within a technology or professional services environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting demands
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across orders, documentation, and tracking
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying aligned with team and business priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, and other collaboration platforms
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working in a managed service provider (MSP) or similar fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Familiarity with IT hardware, software, or licensing concepts
• Previous experience with Microsoft AOS-G and Microsoft partner procurement is strongly preferred
• Exposure to Microsoft licensing, particularly Microsoft 365 or GCC High environments
• Experience with documentation, tracking systems, or PSA tools (e.g., HaloPSA, Confluence, or similar platforms)
Benefits:
• Fully paid individual healthcare, vision and dental insurance for the employee.
• Paid certification and training opportunities.
• Three weeks of paid vacation + 10 paid holidays.
• A supportive environment with a focus on keeping healthy work-life balance.
• Retirement benefit (401k) with company match.
