Job description

Procurement Senior Analyst

Location: NYC, LA | Onsite Full Time

Procurement Strategic Initiatives & Transformation | 2 Headcount

Role Overview

Asana is the single source of truth for Procurement's approximately 24 workstreams and 300+ initiatives. This role owns the day-to-day integrity of that system, from daily tactical operations and Hygiene Lead support to schema design, financial validation tracking, and the post-close operating rhythm that Procurement will run on going forward.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Tactical Operations

  • Maintain the Asana Hygiene Dashboard and send the daily Asana Hygiene Action List to Hygiene Leads.
  • Manage the Asana Hygiene Leads Slack channel and resolve ad hoc questions and issues in real time.
  • Lead weekly stand-up meetings to review priorities and progress against open action items.

Asana 2.0 Schema & Deployment

  • Own ongoing schema design and field structure updates for clarity, accuracy, and process efficiency.
  • Develop training materials, host onboarding sessions, and facilitate Hygiene stand-ups, including for International Leads in EMEA, LATAM, and Australia.
  • Partner with Hygiene Leads to migrate and fill in required Asana 2.0 fields for all active initiatives.
  • Build a Quick Reference Guide covering Asana set-up, initiative management, and long-term maintenance.
  • Assess, design, and socialize Asana enhancements, including AI enablement, streamlined templates, automated approval flows, and built-in data checks, and define the post-close operating rhythm.

Financial Validation

  • Train Hygiene Leads on stage gate template sign-offs and Asana documentation requirements.
  • Maintain the Sign-Off Evidence Log and Asana requirements that support Financial Validation & Budget Alignment.
  • Facilitate Category Lead and Central Finance sessions and build materials to resolve the finance validation backlog.
  • Own and update the Financial Validation Tracker dashboard covering 300+ initiatives' validation status.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7+ years in program or project operations, systems administration, or PMO analyst roles.
  • Hands-on Asana administration experience with custom fields, rules or automations, portfolios, and reporting strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort owning data hygiene across a large, fast-moving initiative set.
  • Clear written and verbal communicator, able to train and support non-technical stakeholders across regions.
  • Process-oriented mindset and comfortable designing and documenting repeatable workflows.

Success Looks Like

  • Asana data stays accurate and current with minimal manual chasing, supported by strong Hygiene Lead engagement.
  • Financial validation backlog steadily shrinks and new initiatives move through validation without bottlenecks.
  • Asana 2.0's post-close operating rhythm is documented, adopted, and sustainable without heavy central intervention.

Pay Rate

  • $52.33 to $62.11 per hour
