Job description

KIRCO MANIX Construction is looking for an experienced Project Superintendent or Senior Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial construction projects. Whether you're an accomplished Superintendent looking for your next opportunity or a Senior Superintendent with experience leading large, complex projects, we'd like to meet you.


The level of this position will be determined based on your experience, leadership capabilities, and project background.


As a field leader, you'll oversee daily construction operations while working closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality.


What You'll Do


  • Lead all onsite construction activities from project startup through closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project schedules with the Project Manager
  • Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations
  • Champion jobsite safety and enforce OSHA standards
  • Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and OAC meetings
  • Oversee field documentation using Procore
  • Resolve field issues quickly while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel
  • Maintain compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable building codes


We're Looking For


  • Commercial construction field leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and safety
  • Ability to lead subcontractors and field teams effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Procore and construction scheduling software preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)


Ideal Experience

  • Project Superintendent: Approximately 7-12 years of commercial construction field experience with experience leading projects independently.
  • Senior Superintendent: Typically 15+ years of experience managing large, complex commercial construction projects and mentoring other field leaders.
