Manufacturer Supervisor - Sorting and Finishing Department
Location: Baxter, TN
Shift: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Sunday to Thursday
Responsibilities:As a Manufacturer Supervisor in the Sorting and Finishing Department, your role encompasses a range of crucial responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
  • Safety and Culture Promotion:
    • Foster a culture of safety and awareness within the department.
    • Directly supervise team members to achieve expected levels of safety, quality, and productivity.
    • Lead injury investigations and ensure accurate root cause identification and correction.
  • Training and Development:
    • Oversee all training initiatives, including safety training, for new hires.
    • Ensure employees complete required training, including safety, ergonomic, and all other necessary training.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Demonstrate a keen understanding of scheduling in a continuous flow operation.
    • Manage the setup of lines and equipment for current and upcoming product runs.
    • Actively participate in the selection and hiring of new talent.
    • Establish and maintain controls to keep costs at a minimum.
  • Continuous Improvement and Quality Control:
