About the Job Packaging Supervisor

Packaging Supervisor needs 2+ years experience

Packaging Supervisor requires:

  • 5:30am-6:30pm
  • Must have steel toed safety shoes
  • Experience with cGMP environment
  • Experience working in device manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Good technical writing and editing skills.
  • Previous Leadership experience
  • Organizational and motivational skills

Packaging Supervisor duties:

  • Ensures staffing and training for operators working on the packaging line. Ensures the team is adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with the Area Management on quality, equipment, and operational issues.
  • Act as both administrator and technical leader for operations, setting a good example through demonstrated knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems and use of proper technique. Able to fill in when operator staffing requires it.
  • Represent the shift operations at huddles and provide feedback to the floor on updates from said huddles.
  • Supervise temporary employees for several contracting agencies.
  • Handle escalation within the team.
