Job description

Sterile Processing Manager 3 months contract Location : Grove City, Ohio, 43123 This is a 8-hour shift 5 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 08:00-16:30, total of 40 hours per week. Manager with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification along with 2 professional references. Requirements: Manager for Sterile Processing Department. Shift 8:00-4:30 with a 24 hour responsibility to the department Previous leadership experience a must Must be able to assist instrument technicians LRM 00556168 Skills: Sterile Processing Manager Responsibilities
  • Provides 24/7 strategic leadership, direction, support, accountability, and management of the OR Sterile Processing Department (OR SPD) including decontamination processes and sterile processing in compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Reviews and evaluates department performance reports, usage reports and other fiscal documents for adherence to hospital goals and directives. Also responsible for quality and functional excellence and assists the Associate Director for OR Sterile Processing in accomplishing strategic and operational objectives. Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree required. Ability to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy healthcare central sterile/sterile processing department; ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment on a daily basis.
