About Camelback Compounding: Camelback Compounding Pharmacy has been in business since 1985.  Located in the heart of Arcadia in the Camelback Village Shopping Center, we serve patients throughout all of Arizona.  Specializing in non-sterile compounding, we take pride in our ability to provide high quality compounded prescriptions in a timely fashion while providing the highest levels of service to both the patients and providers we serve.
Position Overview: Camelback Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a motivated pharmacy technician trainee to join our specialized compounding team. This position offers hands-on experience working in a pharmacy and can provide support to assist in becoming a certified pharmacy technician. We are looking for someone to work Saturdays (9am to 130pm) and additional hours during the week depending on availability and business needs.
Key Responsibilities: Under pharmacist supervision, the pharmacy technician trainee will assist prescription processing from intake through preparation, production and labeling. This position also requires assisting with shipping and payment processing along with the ability to provide excellent customer service in person, by phone and via text messaging.  This position will interact with patient and providers regarding compounded medications.
The role includes maintaining and cleaning compounding equipment according to USP standards and managing inventory for compounding supplies and raw materials. 
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be currently possess a valid Arizona technician license or be willing to get one immediately upon being hired. We seek individuals with excellent attention to detail and work ethic, strong communication skills for patient/provider interaction, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn specialized compounding software are essential.
Preferred Qualifications Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience, coursework in pharmaceutics or compounding, familiarity with USP compounding standards, and bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
