Job description

SUPERVISOR - Chemical Processing
Monday - Friday 
2:00 PM - 11:30 PM
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Supervise and lead 2nd shift chemical processing and chemical milling operations.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of chemical processing lines, equipment, and tooling.
  • Ensure daily production schedules, workflow, and quality standards are met.
  • Supervise team leaders and employees in work order processing and shop operations.
  • Track, process, and complete work orders accurately, including required logbook and maintenance release entries.
  • Monitor and control shop expenses, labor hours, and operational costs.
  • Maintain compliance with EPA, TCEQ, OSHA, NESHAP, and all chemical storage and disposal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including labor tracking, material usage, quality logs, process logs, and EHS records.
  • Support project management activities, including customer communication, pricing, and project coordination.
  • Provide employee coaching, performance management, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and communicate shift performance metrics and progress reports to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Nadcap and AS9100 experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft chemical anodizing/chem-film (pre-treatment) processes required.
  • Strong understanding of chemical milling processes.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with work order systems and production documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift schedule.
