What you'll do...

The Project Manager is in charge of overseeing the budget, reporting on the progress of the job, managing stakeholder engagement, communicating with team members and planning for the upcoming requirements of the project. The Senior Project Manager is fully responsible for all aspects of Safety, Quality Delivery and Cost of the project. What becomes more critical as you take on the responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager is leadership and the ability to take a more strategic view of how a project is progressing, yet also be across the key day to day details. Also supports applications engineering with review and approval of capex and proposals

The ideal candidate for the role will be an innovative, collaborative, and progressive leader with exceptional business acumen and the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions in a highly complex, rapidly evolving environment. You are someone who builds trust and credibility and inspires ERockers across the business. You are action-oriented, resourceful, and approachable while also having the ability to influence and lead significant change.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
  • Proficiency in various software applications
  • Ability to analyze financial information such as budgets, expenditures, cost and milestone forecasting, and overall project financial health.
  • Ability to control costs by: negotiating costs through out the project to avoid budget overruns, optimizing resource allocations to manage costs and performing risk assessments to forecast potential costs impacts and mitigating these events
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Demonstrated effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in ability to prioritize and understand project sequence to ensure proper project execution
  • Ability to find solutions and overcoming problems that may impact the project
  • Proven Schedule Management Abilities and understanding of critical path
  • Ability to provide lessons learned and root cause analysis for events
  • Ability to develop process documents
  • Develop project plans for more complex sites
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure documentation is captured and stored through out the project process
  • Proven technical skills to support construction and engineering
  • Proven ability to resolve scope deviations from client, vendor, or contractor
  • Provide leadership to project management team
  • Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal network
  • Ability to Use specialized tools and techniques to delegate and ensure even distribution of tasks to project team members.
  • Evaluate the progress of a project to detect limitations or faults to seek solutions to a more efficient process
  • Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Proven ability to communicate to internal and external senior management teams

What you'll need:

Bachelor's Degree or Related Experience

Project Management Certification Strongly Preferred

Minimum 5+ years' experience in a relevant role

Minimum 5+ years technical field experience; specifically with energy & technology

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget

The ability to understand business needs to drive buy-in among company leaders to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities while building rapport and fostering a collaborative working environment

Field travel required
