Job description

Project Manager III – Electrical Capital Projects

📍 Preferred Location: Duluth, Minneapolis, or Edina, MN
📅 Duration: 1 Year Contract
🏢 Hybrid: Mon, Tues, Thurs Onsite | Weds, Fri Remote


Key Requirements

✅ Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Pipelines, or related field
7+ years of experience, including 5+ years managing capital projects
✅ Experience delivering electrical, utility, pipeline, facility, or infrastructure projects
✅ Strong knowledge of project execution, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC)
✅ PMP certification is a strong asset


Responsibilities
  • Lead small to mid-sized electrical capital projects ($500K–$100M)
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and risk
  • Coordinate engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Support project development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
  • Manage project change, risks, and stakeholder communications
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and technical resources

Preferred Experience
  • Utilities, Energy, Pipeline, Electrical Infrastructure, or Industrial Projects
  • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and/or National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Experience working with engineering consultants and construction contractors
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
