Job Title/High Level Position Summary:
  • We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Sr. Project Manager to lead New Product Development (NPD) projects across cross-functional teams within a fast-paced medical device environment. This role is responsible for managing projects in alignment with PMI methodologies, including business analysis, project planning, execution oversight, communication management, and risk mitigation.
  • The Sr. Project Manager will partner closely with Product Development, Operatroions, Marketing, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to effectively manage complex, multi-department initiatives while influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent organizational and communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage new product development and cross-functional business projects from initiation through commercialization
  • Partner with functional teams to develop business cases, project objectives, and statements of work
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, communication plans, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Product Development, Operations, Marketing, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Organize and lead project team meetings, status updates, and cross-functional reviews
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to communicate progress, risks, and key milestones
  • Monitor project execution and proactively identify issues, dependencies, and risks impacting project success
  • Partner with leadership teams to develop and execute mitigation plans for identified project risks
  • Facilitate effective communication across stakeholders and ensure alignment on project priorities and deliverables
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and project updates to mid- and senior-level leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes, tools, and operational effectiveness
  • Drive accountability and collaboration across matrixed teams to achieve project goals and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Development, Marketing, Quality, Sales Operations, or related functions
  • Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience within a regulated or complex business environment
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience developing and managing project plans, budgets, timelines, and communication strategies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead projects in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience within the medical device or healthcare industry preferred
  • Familiarity with Lean concepts, process mapping, and operational excellence methodologies
