The Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting testing, application development, troubling shooting, as well as, helping the service and parts business development in the (varies)  portion of the USA. In addition to supporting the Chem/Pharm sales team, the process engineer will maintain and grow relationships within the market.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales teams and customers to develop testing strategy and generate a design of experiment to define test goals.
  • Work with sales and test lab to determine best machine to use for testing
  • Running field tests, collect data, generate reports, communicate with engineering regarding any issues with test units.
  • Work with Germany to develop new applications and ensure fit for purpose of test equipment.
  • Provides process support for new and existing installations.
  • Supports after sales service for GEA team members regarding customer support functions.
  • On a monthly basis, provides testing status reports, which encompass past and future tests, overview of testing goals, and resource utilization.
  • Technical knowledge of GEA equipment and the customer process.
  • Position requires frequent travel with 2-3 hotel stays per week.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • BS in an applicable Engineering field preferred, other disciplines or equivalent work experience will be considered

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years process experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The typical base pay range for this position is $95K - $115K.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.


The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.  You may be eligible for additional rewards.
