Job Summary
The Process Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the daily operations of our production processes. This position ensures safety, quality, financial and efficiency standards are met, while leading a team of process leaders/technicians and supporting continuous improvement and troubleshooting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct technical personnel in the assigned process area to ensure KPI targets are achieved.
  • Monitor process parameters, document actions, and results. Adjust equipment settings to optimize throughput, yield, inventory accuracy, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations and company standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with maintenance and engineering to ensure reliability and uptime of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate process records, shift reports, and production data.
  • Work with operations to help better communicate performance metrics and priorities.
  • Support, create training, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), lockout/tagout, and other safety systems.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure performance and adherence to process controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts through Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, leadership, operations, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety programs, standard work, and continuous improvement concepts.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with office software and data-entry systems. Experience with Power BI and Reporting Dashboards a plus.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands and work environment are representative of manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the Maintenance Technician is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds.
This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
Travel:
This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
