As a Process Improvement Engineer at MORryde, you will be tasked with assessing areas for improvement, devising a plan, and executing it to improve our manufacturing process quality standards. Success will come from taking initiative, being passionate in your stance, and rallying a team to ensure implemented practices stand the test of time.

That includes creating quality documents for our Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing inspection of new part releases from start to finish, and verifying quality processes are in place and leading remedial training when needed.

Your role will also be heavily involved with incident and nonconformance reviews, root cause analysis, and creating and championing corrective action solutions. Utilizing the power of the team is key, processes are a collective effort, and you will play a significant role in leading the team to success.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Analytical skillset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Basic use of measurement equipment
  • Ability to interpret and read manufacturing prints
  • Customer focused attitude with the ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work within and lead a team
  • Proactive approach to quality issues

At MORryde you will work closely with Plant Managers, Engineering, Shop Floor Operations, and those in the Quality Department. Strong mathematical and communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate must be able to actively listen to various team members and customers and effectively communicate information to ensure quality standards are being met.

MORryde is more than a place to work; it is an environment that will allow you to grow your capabilities by focusing on your strengths. MORryde provides an amazing company culture where the room for growth is endless. If you are passionate about quality practices, process improvement, mentoring, and coaching, then MORryde’s Quality Process Improvement Team is the place for you.
