About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and support our Clinical Pillar engineering team. This role will serve as both a people leader and technical partner, responsible for guiding developers, ensuring system reliability, and driving delivery against product and engineering goals.

You will oversee day-to-day engineering operations, contribute to technical design decisions, and partner closely with Product and QA to deliver high-quality solutions. This role also plays a key part in strengthening engineering practices, scaling the team, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.

• Monitor system reliability, performance, and security across applications
• Align squad goals with broader Engineering and Product objectives
• Collaborate closely with Product and QA to deliver high-quality customer value
• Contribute to and review technical designs and architectural decisions

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams
• Strong understanding of Agile development processes and practices
• Experience with technical project planning and delivery
• Ability to contribute to system design and solve complex technical challenges
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Solid project management and time management abilities
• Experience working with modern web technologies (e.g., Ruby on Rails and/or React)

Why You’ll Love Working Here

• Retirement savings support – RRSP/401(k) matching at 100% up to 3%
• Health benefits – medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, and paid parental leave starting day one
• Hybrid flexibility – balance in-person collaboration with remote work
• Work-life balance – 90%+ of employees feel supported by their leaders
• Equity program participation – share in MealSuite’s growth
• Career development opportunities – we support your long-term goals
• Purpose-driven work – our mission aligns with the values of 90%+ of employees
