Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, with 1+ years of industrial/manufacturing experience, or advanced degree with relevant lab experience.
  • Experience with JMP, Minitab, Tableau or similar software preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to manage conflict in a stressful environment.
  • Understands and listens to team members and fosters a productive team environment.
  • Handles multiple projects and priorities.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. in addition to experience working within shared work environments.
  • 10% domestic and international travel.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 Range plus health benefits. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports and assesses existing processes and workflows.
  • Designs and implements basic engineering projects: process development, process design.
  • Troubleshoot process development issues and interacts with mechanical, electrical and software engineers to resolve issues and fix bugs.
  • Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
  • Develops and implements process improvements and optimization projects.
  • Provides development and troubleshooting support from growth through wafer processes.
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of complex documentation sets, involving highly technical material, for training purposes under limited supervision.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business goals to develop new products or services.
  • Tracks and reports on operational metrics for areas of improvement and monitoring performance of tests/upgrades.
  • Development of new processes and equipment
  • Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process improvements/changes.
  • Assist in the design and execution of experiments and statistical data analysis.
  • Project leadership
