Process Engineer I - Laser

Confluent Medical Technologies has set the standard for medical-device

We are seeking a Process Engineer I - Laser reporting to Senior Manager, Engineering to join our dynamic team of industry leading experts at our Warwick, RI facility.

As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:
Responsible for process development - from proof-of-concept prototypes
to sustained manufacturing validation - planning, and coordinating
engineering activities, studies and programs in support of standard
production and new product development related to laser cutting.
Hands on process development -ability to run lasers, cut parts and
troubleshoot systems.
Experience translating customer drawings into laser cutting programs
using Solidworks and AutoCAD in accordance with GD&T principles.
Ability to review and analyze data using statistical tools such as DOE's,
CPK/PPK, and ANOVA variation analysis.
Create, communicate, and maintain documentation per quality control
policies.
Production support.
Expert in organizational skills about data gathering, organizing and basic
analysis.
Possess good English communication skills - both written and oral.
Follow health, safety and environmental programs for preventative
maintenance - adhering to safety protocols and ensuring that all hazards
are properly managed.

Requirements:
Bachelor of engineering degree in the area of mechanical engineering or
comparable curriculum is required.
Have solid background in CAD Software such as AutoCad, Solidworks
etc.
Have 3D printing experience
Have laser experience.
Possess 1-3 years of experience in Micromachining or Optical Metrology.
Have machine maintenance expertise.
Experience in the medical device industry.
Possess good English communication skills - both written and oral.
