The Position:
We are looking for an entry level Chemical Process Engineer with a wide variety of abilities that complements ISC's culture of integrity. The Chemical Process Engineer will provide technical support on process engineering and process safety endeavors and have the ability to lead such endeavors.
Applicants should have the ability to:
  • Model unit operations in simulation software
  • Perform hydraulic calculations
  • Perform Material & Energy Balance calculations
  • Develop Process Flow Diagrams
  • Develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
  • Support the preparation of Equipment and Instrumentation Specifications
  • Perform Relief Device Sizing calculations.
  • Model release events in dispersion modeling software
  • Support and facilitate Process Hazard Analysis meetings
  • Lead process engineering activities within multi-discipline engineering projects
  • Support all engineering phases from concept to construction for new and expansion projects
  • Support capital cost estimates for projects
  • Communicate effectively with ISC team members as well as client representatives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 5-10 years with chemical process engineering
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work both individually and collaboratively
  • Knowledge and ability to apply the applicable engineering standards
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point).
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Integrity in dealings with associates and clients.
