Job Type: Full Time

Location: Warrenton, Va.

Clearance: TS SCI

VMR Strategic Solutions is seeking a Senior UC Engineer to help our client. The engineer will have comprehensive knowledge of network topology. The engineer will create and report all outage notifications and network related issues according to standard operating procedures. The engineer must have CCNA collaboration certification and experience with Microsoft Office applications such as excel, word, and outlook.

Duties

  • Ensuring compliance with network security policies and procedures
  • Troubleshooting common UC issues to include identifying and correcting issues with endpoints, bandwidth saturation, profiles, and misconfigurations
  • Participating in additional Tier II/III projects or upgrades as tasked
  • Providing After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • 7-10 years of directly related experience
  • Must meet DoD IAT Level II qualifications upon hire
  • Technical knowledge of VoIP, software, hardware, and Telecommunications standards, Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and Unified Presence
  • Technical knowledge of VTC equipment such as Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, Cisco CODECs and Cisco Meeting Server/Cisco Meeting Manager
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, H323, and SIP protocols

  • TS/SCI
