Job description

Overall Purpose

This position plays a critical role in the change, incident and problem management responsibilities. The role ensures that consistent responses and artifacts are provided for all audits and Business Recovery Exercises. This position requires a shift schedule. The work hours for this position are 3:00pm - 11:00pm MST.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee and manage the Change Management function including the administering the Change Acceptance Board (CAB) meetings.

  • Oversee the completeness and accuracy of change tickets within the change control policies and procedures as documented.

  • Assume the role of Incident Coordinator for Severity 1 incidents

  • Oversee the Problem Management Process and coordinate the resolution of business impacts across IT.

  • Assume the role of Incident Coordinator for Production Disaster Recovery Programs ensuring that the severity 1 procedures meet all Business Continuity Management Governance requirements.

  • Create, edit and maintain applicable department policies and procedures documents.

  • Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts verbally and written

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically, a minimum of 5 years of related work experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Continuity planning and execution

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Prior experience working with ITIL, ITSM and Project Management frameworks

  • Certifications in Business Continuity Professional Programs (CBCP, CBCI, MBCP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Business Continuity Professional Programs (CBCP, CBCI, MBCP)

  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT Service Management

Physical Requirements

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL / Washington, DC in USD per year is: $95,000 - $116,000.
Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
