Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid)
Work Schedule: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 24-Month Contract (Approx. September 2026 - August 2028)
Shift: 24x7 Production Support Environment with On-Call Rotation
About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to support Cyber Security Platform Services within a large enterprise technology environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the stability, security, performance, and availability of critical infrastructure platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will provide production support, incident response, problem resolution, and operational excellence across a diverse technology stack.
This role requires collaboration with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure high system availability, service reliability, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain enterprise applications, infrastructure, and platform technologies in a production environment.
  • Participate in the resolution of complex technical issues involving applications, operating systems, databases, and network infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health across multiple technology platforms.
  • Investigate recurring incidents and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement long-term solutions and process improvements.
  • Lead and coordinate troubleshooting efforts during system outages, service degradations, and critical incidents.
  • Perform incident, problem, and change management activities following established ITIL practices.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, engineering, cybersecurity, and application support teams to ensure service continuity.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and drive resolution through closure.
  • Support operational governance, compliance requirements, and service-level objectives.
  • Contribute to platform stability, security, scalability, and optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Operations, Infrastructure Support, Production Support, or a related technology role.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and infrastructure in a high-availability environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including weekends, holidays, on-call support, and occasional extended hours when required.
  • Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
