We are looking for a highly skilled Pro Logistics Manager with strong organizational skills and proven leadership! The ideal candidate is excited by the unique and unpredictable challenges faced in the world of logistics, enjoys problem solving, and improves the productivity and profitability of the Pro Logistics Center. Day-to-day responsibilities include the Wire Center, Solar Warehouse and project management.

 

Shift: Full-time; Monday through Friday and irregular business days/hours based on business needs.

 

Starting Rate: In addition to a competitive salary, this position is eligible for an incentive plan.

 

We're looking for associates who:

  • Directs and coordinates Pro Logistic Warehouse functions and team to assure that they efficiently and effectively provide services required in a manner that promotes quality customer service
  • Develops direct staff through development and performance management initiatives.
  • Manages the movement of wire and product into and out of inventory. Approves all modifications to inventory. Coordinates inventory audit process.
  • Assists and participates in warehouse duties such as stocking and labeling shelves, inventory of goods, picking and packing orders, etc. in a manner which assures an orderly and safe work environment and excellent customer service.
  • Coordinates & prioritizes orders received in order to meet customer demands, identifying the most appropriate & cost-effective delivery method (via internal transfer system or 3rd party shipping vendor).
  • Monitors and controls defective merchandise and returns in order to reduce related inventory costs.
  • Monitors job queues and takes appropriate action to troubleshoot and resolve items.
  • Oversees the coordination of inventory preparation and warehouse cleanliness in conjunction with the Wire Center Manager.
  • Coordinates cycle inventory counts with RF system.
  • Reviews and coordinates orders received with appropriate sales associate or ticket writers to assure when orders are required & to confirm cut details; communicates deadline & shipping concerns when customer demands become challenging.
  • Monitors and responds to electronic messaging (Outlook & operating system) in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Provides courteous, prompt, efficient and accurate service to both internal and external customers

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated customer and vendor relationship building and maintenance skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to plan and schedule the work of others.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills, including the ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacket.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
  • Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
  • ERP system and RF system experience preferred
