Central Turbos is a leader in the automotive and industrial turbocharging sector, committed to operational excellence and efficient global supply chain management. We are growing our logistics team and seeking a skilled professional to support international freight operations and FTZ activities.


Position Overview


We are hiring an Air & Ocean Logistics Assistant with proven experience in Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English & Spanish) and capable of supporting daily air/ocean logistics while ensuring compliance and timely cargo movement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate air and ocean shipments from booking to delivery.
  • Manage documentation for imports, exports, and FTZ compliance.
  • Support daily FTZ activities: entries, admissions, reports, inventory control, and audits.
  • Communicate effectively in English and Spanish with carriers, forwarders, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Track shipments proactively and resolve delays or issues.
  • Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, B/L instructions, and related documentation.
  • Update systems with shipment and FTZ inventory data.
  • Assist with process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in air and ocean logistics.
  • Hands-on FTZ experience (Required).
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish (Required).
  • Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and import/export compliance.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and logistics platforms.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with systems like Magaya, Acelink, FTZ Softwares
  • Knowledge of HTS codes and Incoterms.
  • Experience with automotive or industrial parts is a plus.
