Cotonou-Direct International Shipping LLC is a U.S.-based international logistics and trade company specializing in ocean freight forwarding, air freight forwarding, transportation brokerage, vehicle shipping, wholesale vehicle trading, and global trade services. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated individual who wants to build a long-term career in logistics. Whether you already have experience or are eager to learn, we provide hands-on training, professional development, and opportunities for advancement.

What You'll Do

  • Assist customers with shipping inquiries and booking requests.

  • Coordinate ocean freight, air freight, and domestic transportation.  Track international shipments and provide shipment updates.

  • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customer files.

  • Communicate with ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and overseas agents.

  • Answer incoming calls and respond professionally to customer emails.

  • Maintain accurate shipment records and operational files.

  • Assist with transportation brokerage operations.

  • Support vehicle shipping and wholesale vehicle operations.

  • Learn export documentation, EEI/AES filing, and regulatory compliance.

  • Support day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks.

This position includes a 90-day introductory (probationary) period. During this period, your performance, attendance, reliability, work quality, and ability to perform your duties independently will be evaluated.
