The Opportunity

Elevate your culinary career at a premier, private luxury country club. We are seeking a visionary Executive Sous Chef to serve as our kitchen’s "second-in-command." In this role, you will craft extraordinary culinary experiences, lead an elite brigade, and uphold the uncompromising standards of an exclusive private club. If you are a disciplined leader passionate about scratch cooking, seasonal menus, and refined hospitality, FireRock offers the perfect stage to showcase your craft.



Key Leadership Responsibilities

  • Brigade Leadership: Directly manage, mentor, and inspire a full kitchen team (Sauce, Fry, Line Prep, Breakfast, Garde Manger, Butcher, Broiler, Sauté, and Salad).
  • Culinary Excellence: Supervise daily production of artisanal soups, mother sauces, and innovative daily specials, ensuring flawless execution, garnishing, and flavor profiles.
  • Operational Command: Assume absolute charge of all food outlets, high-end banquet galas, and private member functions in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Financial Stewardship: Assist with monthly inventories, menu pricing, rigorous cost controls, and daily raw tracking to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Kitchen Expediting: Command the pass during peak service hours to guarantee flawless timing, elegant presentation, and seamless front-of-house coordination.

Education & Experience

  • Culinary Credentials: Degree from an accredited, post-secondary culinary arts program.
  • Luxury Pedigree: Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, scratch-cooking kitchen (private country club or luxury resort experience highly preferred).
