Salary Range: $107,000.00 - $152,500.00
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced global privacy professional to manage and support the execution of our privacy program across international markets. This role will partner closely with Legal, Security, Product, HR, Marketing, and IT teams to ensure compliance with evolving global privacy regulations while enabling business growth and innovation.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on privacy expert with strong knowledge of international privacy laws, operational privacy programs, data governance and regulatory compliance in a global organization.
What You Will Do:
  • Lead day-to-day management of the company's global privacy program and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and other international data protection laws.
  • Support and oversee Back Up and Disaster Recovery (BDR) compliance initiatives, ensuring responsible data collection, usage, retention, governance and stewardship.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement privacy-by-design principles across products, systems, and business processes.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments, data mapping activities, and risk assessments related to new initiatives and technologies.
  • Support data subject rights requests, consent management, retention practices, and privacy operations processes.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and Legal teams on incident response and data protection matters.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance privacy policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
  • Monitor changes in privacy regulations and help drive organizational readiness and compliance efforts globally.
  • Support vendor privacy reviews, third-party risk assessments, and cross-border data transfer requirements.
  • Provide practical, business-focused privacy guidance to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Assist with audits, regulatory inquiries, and compliance reporting activities as needed.

To Be Successful You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or privacy-related certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in privacy, compliance, legal, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of global privacy and data protection regulations and frameworks.
  • Experience supporting or managing privacy programs within multinational organizations.
  • Ability to balance regulatory compliance with practical business solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with privacy operations, governance tools, consent management platforms, or data mapping tools preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to AI governance, digital marketing privacy, or emerging technology regulations.
  • Experience working with international teams and global data governance initiatives.
