To thrive as a Privacy Coordinator, you need a solid understanding of data privacy laws (such as GDPR or CCPA), risk assessment, and compliance, often supported by a bachelor’s degree in law, information security, or a related field. Familiarity with data management systems, privacy management software, and certifications like CIPP/US or CIPM are highly beneficial.
