Job description

Company & Role Overview
CR&A Custom Inc. is a premier Los Angeles large-format printing company specializing in creative visual solutions, from vinyl banners, barricades, and custom signage to building wraps, vehicle graphics, and floor visuals.
We are seeking a motivated, self-starting Sales Representative with current domain knowledge in grand-format printing to drive revenue across Events, Retail campaigns, Tradeshows, and Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising. This role combines proactive consultative sales and business development with end-to-end account leadership and project execution.
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the printing industry is required. Applications without documented print industry experience will not be considered. Qualifying experience includes large-format or grand-format print sales, commercial print account management, or commercial graphics production sales.
Key Domain Knowledge & Technical Aptitude
  • Grand-Format Print Technology: Deep understanding of wide-format digital presses, ink performance, and substrate applications (pressure-sensitive vinyl, mesh banners, acrylics, fabrics, and rigid media).
  • Pre-Press & Estimating: Working knowledge of color management, CMYK vector specs, site survey readings, and building precise job ticket packages for production.
  • Finishing & Site Logistics: Familiarity with finishing processes (CNC contour cutting, seam welding, laminating) and installation mechanics (permits, rigging, bucket lifts, site requirements).
  • Supplier Diversity Purchasing: Ability to leverage CR&A's certified MBE/WBE status to help enterprise and municipal clients meet procurement diversity goals.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Sales & Account Growth: Prospect new B2B clients, convert company-provided leads, and expand existing accounts. A current book of business is highly desirable.
  • Consultative Discovery: Scope project needs, conduct site evaluations, recommend substrates and materials, and deliver professional pitch presentations.
  • Project Coordination & Execution: Serve as the central point of contact to ensure jobs match original quotes (size, color, finishing). Re-quote variations promptly and deliver accurate pricing updates to clients.
  • Production Alignment: Issue clear job instructions and job tickets to internal production teams, establish project priorities, and manage critical dates including proof approvals and delivery milestones.
  • Account Administration & Issue Resolution: Lead prompt pre-invoice preparation, capture all billable costs for accounting, resolve production and client escalations, and maintain strict adherence to workplace safety standards.
  • Client Engagement: Travel as needed for client hosting, site visits, and industry trade events.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in the printing industry, in direct sales, print account management, or commercial graphics.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success meeting sales targets and managing complex custom manufacturing workflows.
  • Skills: Strong presentation, time management, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-first mindset.
  • Other: Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation for local client and site visits.
