Job Description

SCOPE OF WORK:
The Contractor shall provide an IT Hardware Support specialist with the technical experience to trouble-shoot, move/install Laser printers/Large format plotters and IT devices (PCs, keyboards mice, etc). Work includes uninstalling devices and associated equipment; preparing devices and associated equipment to be moved to new location; installing devices and testing functionally of all components; and troubleshoot issues encountered. The Contractor will need to provide the IT Hardware Support specialist with a vehicle (enclosed/secure van or equivalent) to transport equipment and associated components from one SMUD location to another as needed, including rolling cart (38"x46"x24"). The Contractor will need to insure the IT Hardware Support specialist possesses a valid CA driver's license. The Contractor will need to also provide the appropriate level of insurance required by SMUD. We will need IT Hardware Support Specialist available for a 4-hour response time for plotters/printers (same day if requested before 2pm, next day after 2pm), which may mean being on site during workday (normal business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm).
