Job description

Printomize America is seeking an experienced and motivated DTF Printer Technician to join our technical support team. This role involves working with advanced Direct-to-Film printing equipment, handling installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal printer performance. The technician will provide on-site service and training to customers nationwide, supporting their technical needs and enhancing customer satisfaction through expert support.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair DTF printing equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot printer hardware, software, and workflow issues.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on-site.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service calls.
  • Travel occasionally to customer locations for installations and servicing.
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with technical and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage software updates and conduct troubleshooting during customer training sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a DTF printer technician or related digital printing equipment technician.
  • Strong understanding of printer mechanics, electronics, and software.
  • Good computer skills including software installation, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage travel schedules.
