We are is seeking full-time Information Technology Administrators to support contract work out of San Diego, CA.Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and internet systems or a segment of a network system, to include data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. Install hardware and software; Maintain or repair equipmentTroubleshooting a variety of computer issuesOffering technical support on-site or via phone or emailDiagnose computer problemsSet up computer equipmentSchedule maintenance and teach clients to use programsPerform repairs and computer parts orderingUtilize SCCM to apply necessary OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, upgrade administrative tools and utilities and configure/add new services as necessaryPerform installs of servers/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirementsPerform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backupsAssist with the administration and maintenance of telephone equipment, protocols and routing queues necessary to meet business needsPlans and executes Information Technology activities projects/administrative duties as needed: document task, management of user and operational forms, inventory records, data calls, office file maintenance, etc.Qualifications:Active Top-Secret Security Clearance Bachelor's Degree plus 6 years of additional relevant work experience; or Associate's Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant experience; or 10 years of additional relevant work experience
