Principal Consultant – Strategy

The Role
Capco’s Strategy practice is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead high-impact engagements across Business Strategy and Organizational Strategy. You will work closely with senior clients and cross-functional teams to define strategic direction, design operating models, and enable transformation powered by data and AI.
This role combines delivery, business development, and practice building, offering the opportunity to influence client outcomes while contributing to the growth of Capco’s Strategy capability.
What You’ll Do

  • Lead delivery of strategic engagements, including market entry strategies, operating models, and business transformation initiatives
  • Manage project teams and oversee delivery quality to ensure alignment with client expectations
  • Use AI-enabled tools to support diagnostics, benchmarking, and scenario modelling
  • Partner with domain and solution experts across data, technology, risk, and AI to deliver integrated solutions
  • Build client relationships, contribute to sales pursuits, and support practice development initiatives
What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services and/or consulting
  • Proven experience delivering strategy and large-scale transformation programs
  • Experience supporting business development, including shaping and closing opportunities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Bonus Points For
  • Experience applying AI tools or models within strategy or transformation engagements
  • Exposure to multiple financial services domains (Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, Wealth & Asset Management)
  • Experience developing thought leadership or strategic insights for clients
