Job description

Work Arrangement: Remote.
While this is a remote position, occasional on-site attendance may be required as business needs dictate for projects, meetings, training, special events, or other business-related activities.

About the Role

The Pricing Analyst plays a key role in developing competitive pricing strategies that support UniGroup's transportation and logistics solutions. This position partners closely with Operations, Sales, Solutions Design, and other business teams to analyze costs, evaluate opportunities, and recommend pricing that balances profitability with customer and market needs.

This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with data, solving complex business challenges, and communicating recommendations that influence strategic decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Develop pricing strategies and recommendations for transportation and logistics opportunities.
  • Analyze costs, margins, market conditions, and operational requirements to support profitable pricing decisions.
  • Prepare pricing proposals for commercial accounts, specialty logistics projects, and contract opportunities.
  • Review contracts and support pricing for renewals, new business, and project-based work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies align with operational capabilities and business objectives.
  • Present pricing analyses and recommendations to stakeholders while clearly explaining the rationale behind pricing decisions.
  • Identify trends and opportunities through data analysis to improve pricing effectiveness and business performance.
  • Develop and maintain reports, models, and tools that support pricing decisions and continuous process improvement.
  • Support special projects and other analytical initiatives as assigned.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to three years of relevant analytical, financial, pricing, logistics, or transportation experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, QlikSense, or similar reporting platforms.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Understanding of pricing strategy, cost analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience within transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a related industry is preferred.
