This role is essential in industries like manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, and facility management.

What are the typical daily responsibilities for someone in a preventive maintenance role?

In a Preventive Maintenance role, your day-to-day tasks often include inspecting equipment, performing scheduled repairs, lubricating components, and replacing worn parts to prevent unplanned breakdowns. You may also be responsible for documenting maintenance activities, updating logs in a CMMS, and identifying potential issues early on. Collaboration with production teams and other maintenance staff is common to coordinate repairs and minimize disruption to operations.
