Do you have an exceptional mechanical aptitude? If so, join the Easterseals Crossroads Team!  

We are looking for a full time and we will consider part time Industrial Maintenance/Mechanic to work first shift, and are open to flexible work schedules. In this position you will diagnose and repair various kinds of equipment while working with safety as a primary focus.

What you'll do:

Perform preventative and general maintenance on equipment in a light industrial facilities. Types of equipment include:

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment 
  • Forklifts
  • Staple guns
  • Baltec Presses
  • Speedycut Tapping machines
  • Clausing Spindle Drill
  • AirMite punches 
  • Manual lathe
  • Drill press
  • Band saw
  • Grinder
  • Other shop equipment as needed.

Other duties include:

  • Setup and changeover production line equipment
  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
  • Open building when needed
  • Assist in areas outside of your primary responsibility and learn other skills, as required.

Education and experience

  • 2- 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of metal fabrication machines
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems
  • Working knowledge of HVAC system
  • Working knowledge of production tooling and fixtures

Every production employee hired at Crossroads Industrial Services may be trained to work in other departments, depending on the specific needs of the business and the specific skills possessed by the production employee.
