Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift
Pay: $26.00/hour
Shift: 2nd 2:30PM - 10:30PM
A local manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment, facility systems, and related equipment operating safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, equipment rebuilds, and general facility maintenance.

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and follow-up on production equipment ranging from grinders to tape machines.
  • Rebuild, maintain, and repair a variety of shop and production equipment.
  • Respond to emergency equipment repairs and changing maintenance priorities.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, forklifts, chilled water, compressed air, and vacuum systems.
  • Work with contractors and equipment vendors on equipment repairs, revisions, and modifications.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance and repair parts and coordinate with purchasing as needed.
  • Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
  • Keep equipment and work areas safe, clean, and orderly.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and required documentation.
  • Perform other maintenance projects and duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance strongly preferred.
  • Vocational training or maintenance apprenticeship is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and production equipment.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to properly use required PPE.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift 15-25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with the upper extremities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods on a concrete floor.
  • Ability to safely work around production equipment and facility systems.
