What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, automated equipment, and related mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. You will support preventive maintenance, respond to equipment issues, document repair activity, and work closely with production and maintenance leadership to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive, scheduled, emergency, and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and plant systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment issues.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and adjust.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Install, program, maintain, and repair automated machinery, programmable controllers, electrical apparatus, wiring, and machinery components.
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including gauges, valves, pressure regulators, piping, and related equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, material handling equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform regular inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and equipment condition checks to support uptime and equipment lifespan.
  • Document maintenance activity, report unusual conditions, and communicate equipment concerns to supervision.
  • Support continuous improvement, safety improvements, quality control, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas in compliance with company safety standards and regulations.
  • Support ADSMI emergency response and severe weather leadership responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and accurately in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and safe work practices in an industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience supporting automotive, automated, or high-volume manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems, work orders, equipment documentation, and root cause problem-solving.
  • PLC, arc flash certification, aerial lift training and fork truck.
