Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
  • Inspect, diagnose, and proactively address wear, misalignment, lubrication issues, and component degradation
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent recurring failures
  • Maintain and document maintenance activities, PM schedules, and equipment history
  • Service equipment including molding machines, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, and stamping equipment
  • Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and recommend corrective actions
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety standards
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1+ year of industrial or preventive maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase, up to 480V)
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance strategies (lubrication, inspections, condition monitoring)
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow systematic problem-solving methods
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred / Additional Skills
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Familiarity with PLCs or automated production equipment
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques (vibration, thermal, etc.)
  • Certifications such as HAZWOPER or Confined Space
