As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Presence in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity while contributing to a caring, team-focused environment. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical facility disturbances in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with access control procedures and directing individuals in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
