Job description

Position Overview and Responsibilities
Provide personnel escort services at DIA facilities. The escort services shall include:
  • Accompany personnel working facility operations or other activities that do not have the appropriate security clearances and/or access authorization for secure areas of each building or site.
  • The escort will notify occupants prior to entering their work space with visitors to decrease disruption and the unauthorized disclosure of classified or sensitive information. The Contractor with input from the designated project manager shall provide sufficient escorting activities deemed appropriate for a projects or service.
  • All escorts are required to wear a company uniform. Company uniforms shall be distinct, company standard with a company logo and person's nametag. The company as part of the uniform shall provide a flashlight and radios.
  • Shall ensure only personnel with a valid need to enter the area are appropriately registered and badged before entering construction sites
  • In secure and accredited areas through which un-cleared construction personnel must pass or work, the assigned CAE personnel must properly sign in un-cleared personnel on the visitor's roster, turn on alerting mechanism, and notify occupants prior to their entry into secured areas to prevent the unauthorized disclosure of classified and sensitive information.
  • Operations may include 24/7/365 operations
Experience and Qualifications Requirements
  • Active US TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance
  • Must have 2-4 years working in areas that required TS/SCI security clearance 6.5.3.
  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) andDepartment of Defense (DoD) classification guidelines and procedures ICD/ICS-705
  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply cleared American escorts procedures (i.e. clearances reviews, SCI access) and DIA security policies, prohibited items and reportable incidents.
Additional Requirements
  • All contractor personnel are required to wear a company uniform. Company uniforms shall be distinct, company standard with a company logo, person's nametag, flashlight and radios.
  • All contractor personnel shall have Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) associated with construction projects, complete safety training/briefing as required by general contractor on site who is responsible for enforcing safety regulations for the project. PPE to include but not limited to properly worn hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, footwear, and outerwear as appropriate for anticipated weather condition.
  • Access to DIA SCI networks requires the successful completion of a CI Polygraph.
  • All contractor personnel performing work under BPA/SOW must comply with all applicable Federal, DoD, and DIA directives, instructions and standard operating procedures while providing contract support to DIA, including accessing and handling government information as part of this contract. DoD, ICD and DIA Directives, Instructions and Publications as referenced in the DD-254 and Security Addendum.
