Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC) is seeking aLicensed Mental Health Therapist / Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our integrated primary care and behavioral health team.


In this role, you will providemental health counseling, behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention for patients ages 5 and older.


This position is eligible for Federal and State Loan Repayment Programs (NHSC).

What Youll Do

  • Provide mental health counseling and behavioral health therapy
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and treatment planning
  • Provide ongoing therapy for mental health and substance use concerns
  • Deliver crisis intervention when needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams in an integrated care model

Patients served: Age 5 and older

Qualifications

Required

  • Licensed in Virginia as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD
  • Masters or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
  • Eligible for FTCA privileging
  • Current BLS certification


Preferred

  • Experience providing mental health counseling or substance use treatment
  • Experience in integrated behavioral health or primary care settings

Applicants must not be sanctioned under Medicaid or Medicare.
