This full-time or part-time position allows you to work remotely, leveraging telehealth technology to provide care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through their healing processes and helping them develop essential coping strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
  • Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients have access to immediate assistance when needed.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, available resources, and the therapeutic process.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and comprehensive treatment.
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.
  • Commit to staying current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Lakeview Behavioral Health, you will primarily serve clients who have experienced significant trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, neglect, and violence, as well as individuals living with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. Your expertise in trauma-informed approaches will play a vital role in helping them heal and thrive.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.
  • Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and USD 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
