The Role

You will operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials. Working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare.

Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule

  • Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • 12-hour static shifts (Nights - 6:00pm – 6:00am)




What You'll Do

  • Translate written and computer-generated layout specification into the requirements for mounting plates
  • Ability to prepare plates to be mounted
  • Clean plates if necessary
  • Minor repairs if needed
  • Apply plates properly and using correct materials
  • Properly set up job using plate mounter
  • Perform visual inspections of plate and plate components for defects
  • Ability to troubleshoot print issues in relation to plates, sleeves, and inks
  • Complete required documentation and obtain required signatures
  • Filing plates to ensure the integrity of the plates and filing system
  • Participate in quality, continuous improvement, and safety
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Strong time management skills
  • Perform basic math skills
  • Obtain accurate geometric measurements with a variety of instruments
  • Strong self-starter who encourages self-motivation

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary:

  • Wages ranging from $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
