We have a challenging opportunity for a - Production Coordinator based out of JFK facility.

Hourly Rate: $32-$33

Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the operational workflow and tracking key milestones over the duration of a customer order end to end, within the Precious Metals operation in the Tri State area.

This position will work with the Vault Team and the Customer Service Team to ensure that customers are appropriately serviced as per expectations and build out a comprehensive track and visibility dashboard for cross functional teams' daily use. The position will also work closely with the BGS Operations Team to support all related Export / Import activities.

This position functions in an armed environment and requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of all on the premises of Brink's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tracking of every customer transaction while building and populating the customer service dashboard.
  • Working with Vault Team and Customer Service Team to establish key milestones and timing to complete milestones and overall transactions.
  • Ensuring key milestones are met by Vault Team and Customer Service Team.
  • Analyze KPIs and metrics associated with shipment production flow and report back to management key spikes, trends and findings
  • Escalation of any deviation of milestones to Management team.
  • Establish proactive Customer communication with regular updates on key milestones.
  • Explore innovative uses of AI, technology products and informational systems to streamline operations and internal communication updates to cross functional teams
  • Strong ability to work through peak demands and recalibrate projects and functions during off peak times.
  • Establish a point of contact system of communication between operations and customer service for all milestone updates.
  • Work through problem solving events with operations and customer service to better meet customer expectations and deliverables
  • Partnering with Ground Operations, Air Operations, Sort Operations and Shipping Teams to coordinate import/export progress.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • 1-3 years of project management experience
  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in precious metals storage, freight forwarding/transportation or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Lean/Process Improvement methodologies
  • Project Management Certification
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred
