"A Day in the Life"
As a Service Coordinator based in Richland, WA, you play a critical role in connecting customer needs with efficient, high quality service delivery, serving as the central point of contact for service requests and support. This role is part of the Inventory Center team and supports service operations across the region. You will manage incoming calls related to operating instructions and service needs, coordinate work orders, and schedule the dispatch of in-house service technicians. You will also recommend the use of external contractors when appropriate to meet customer needs.
In this role, you will interact with customers and internal teams across the organization, requiring strong communication and coordination skills. Success in this position comes from being highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. A strong sense of adaptability, flexibility, and a solutions focused approach is essential, along with a commitment to delivering responsive, high quality service that supports both customer satisfaction and operational success.
"What You'll Do"

  • Answer incoming customer calls and professionally gather service requirements to coordinate and schedule technician visits
  • Prioritize and assess time-sensitive requests to ensure timely, responsive, and high-quality service delivery
  • Generate and maintain technician schedules to support efficient service operations
  • Provide initial troubleshooting support over the phone and offer clear, helpful guidance and resources to customers
  • Quickly identify customer needs, develop an understanding of equipment and technical requirements to effectively assist customers, and collaborate with internal teams to address root causes and improve overall service outcomes
  • Manage multiple active service requests simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Review service details and determine appropriate customer charges in accordance with scope and service agreements
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the service department
  • Support regional service operations to ensure consistent, timely, and effective service delivery
  • Identify opportunities to support ongoing process improvements and team efficiency
  • Conduct safety audits and maintain safety training documentation as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
