About the Firm
A well-established plaintiff boutique law firm in Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This firm is known for delivering exceptional client service, maintaining a supportive team culture, and handling a variety of complex personal injury and medical malpractice matters from pre-suit through litigation and trial.
Position Overview
The Litigation Paralegal will manage a high-volume caseload from initial intake through case completion, including trial preparation and active involvement in litigation support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in plaintiff PI matters within a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage personal injury and medical malpractice cases from intake to settlement or trial, maintaining organization and momentum throughout the process.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including complaints, discovery requests/responses, motions, subpoenas, settlement demands, and trial exhibits.
  • Handle pre-suit tasks such as requesting medical records, organizing case files, preparing demand packages, and communicating with insurance carriers.
  • Assist attorneys with litigation tasks, including calendaring deadlines, filing in state courts, scheduling depositions, hearings, and mediations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and exceptional client service throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit binders, witness lists, trial notebooks, and coordination of logistics.
  • Maintain case management systems, track deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel to move cases forward.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Paralegal experience in a plaintiff law firm required.
  • Strong understanding of Florida civil procedure, litigation process, and trial preparation.
  • Experience handling cases independently from pre-suit through litigation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Proficiency in case management software.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong client-service mindset.
  • Ability to work fully onsite Monday-Friday in Boca Raton, FL (no remote/hybrid).
