Job description

An occupational health event provider is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in El Paso, TX to conduct Human Performance Exams and fit-for-duty evaluations. This role involves assessing functional capacity, delivering clear medical clearance decisions, and supporting a fast-paced onsite screening environment.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: Friday, July 22nd
  • Hours: 7am to 5:30pm
  • Setting: On-site clinical event

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Human Performance Exams to assess functional movement, musculoskeletal stability, and job-related physical capabilities
  • Evaluate lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, range of motion, strength, and endurance as part of the screening process
  • Conduct focused physical exams, health screenings, and medical history reviews as needed
  • Determine medical clearance and fit-for-duty status based on clinical findings and physical demand requirements
  • Document evaluations accurately and work collaboratively with onsite clinical and operational teams to maintain workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
  • Experience in Occupational Health, Urgent Care, Employee Health, or Pre-Employment screening
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make clearance decisions based on functional capacity
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume screening setting
  • Strong documentation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to commit to the full shift
