Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Practice Manager responsible for overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations. The key role includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations.
  • Manage staff scheduling, payroll, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance.
  • Monitor practice performance, productivity, revenue, and operational metrics.
  • Implement workflow improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
  • Maintain high standards for patient care and customer service.
  • Address patient concerns and resolve escalated issues.
  • Oversee inventory of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
  • Lead staff meetings and support ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with providers and leadership to achieve practice goals.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support patient access, scheduling, and follow-up processes.
  • Travel to meetings and work occasional evenings as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field or equivalent healthcare management experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical practice management experience.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Experience managing clinical and administrative operations.
  • Epic Experience is preferred.
  • Open to both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds.
  • Experience in an allergy, pediatric, or multi-provider outpatient practice is preferred.

Hours
Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week - no weekends

  • Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).

Eligibility for health benefits is based on verifying that an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of the work assignment has been met. If you meet eligibility requirements and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s)).
  • 401k (Eligible on the first 401k open enrollment date following 6 consecutive months on assignment. 401k Open Enrollment dates are 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1).

  • Term Life Insurance Plan.
