Dental Office Manager

We are seeking a Dental Office Manager to join our staff at Wellesley Dental Arts. We have a great staff including two wonderful doctors. If you're a proven leader with a positive disposition, we'd love to connect and share more about our non-corporate practice, Wellesley Dental Arts. As a company, we empower our Practice Manager to own their level of success which includes scheduling, hiring, production, and collections that support profitability. As the leader, you will continue to build an all-inclusive collaborative culture within our practice.

Schedule: No Weekends! We see patients on Mon, Tue, Wed, Th and Fri.

Responsibilities:

  • Strive to provide a superior patient experience
  • Support patients within presenting treatment plans
  • Educates the patient regarding insurance benefits and affordable payment options including third-party patient financing
  • Scheduling to patient clinical needs
  • Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Respond to patient billing or financial inquiries
  • Collect and post payments and record receipts.
  • Balance nightly deposits and complete credit card processing
  • Follows-up with the patient between visits for non scheduled, canceled, or missed appointments
  • Act with urgency to resolve any patient dissatisfaction
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks
  • Champion company initiatives such as Adit, Recallmax, Aging, and Abella

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Well versed in dental terminology and procedures
  • Eaglesoft or Dentrix Experience
  • Maintains a positive, collaborative, and supportive disposition with team and patients
  • Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
